I’ve had a great experience at Del Ray Central Apartments. The location is really nice — right in the heart of Del Ray with easy access to shops and restaurants.

Don’t like that I have to help assist paying an electric bill, on top of my own, not my responsibility. All these fees add up. Not family friendly, nothing for my children to do, no pool or playgrounds. On a more positive note, maintenance has never been a real issue to me. Staff is always friendly. Building is quiet. Apartment is small, but it’s still nice.

I generally love living here, but I have never experienced so many issues with fire alarms going off. They’re frequently being tested and have been accidentally triggered more than once. It’s quite frustrating how often it’s occurring, but honestly, other than that, it really is a good place to live.

We've lived at Del Ray Central for several years, and when we first moved in, it was a wonderful place to call home. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership the quality of living here has declined. The elevator is frequently out of service, slow to be repaired, and unreliable for daily use. For residents on higher floors or those with mobility needs, this is more than just an inconvenience. Maintenance of the public and common areas used to be clean and well-kept, but now they often are neglected. Simple upkeep like fresh paint in the halls, clean carpet, clean garage, have fallen off the priority list. It’s disappointing to see how much the building’s charm has been affected by lack of care. Del Ray Central used to be a well-managed community, now it's a property being squeezed for profit at the expense of residents’ comfort and quality of life.

Not really family friendly. No playground or pool. Fees just to pay your rent every month is ridiculous, like another bill. Ridiculous that all residents are practically helping them pay an electric bill for places outside of my apdttment, that I don’t even use.

Living here has been great! The location is unbeatable—everything you need is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, which makes a huge difference. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained, with modern amenities that make life comfortable.

Love the neighborhood!!! Apartment renovations feel cheap and quickly done. Amenities are broken more often than not. Staff is okay - they seem overwhelmed!

Ever since I moved to this place, it has consistently fallen short of my expectations. On the day I was supposed to move in according to my lease, no one was aware or prepared for my arrival. This was just the beginning of a series of disappointments. Any work orders I submitted to report an issue were inexplicably canceled without any resolution. For instance, the dog park gate has been broken for about a month, posing a danger to our beloved pets. I reported the issue, but the work order was canceled, and the problem was never addressed. The first-floor hallway has a persistent and unpleasant weed smell. Additionally, the package area is a complete mess, with packages frequently getting lost in the disorganization. This situation has been frustrating, to say the least.

Unfortunately, this is no longer a place to call home. Too many maintenance issues, elevator never works, garage doors don't work, rent is too high for how the building is being maintained. Will not be renewing the lease.

Living at Del Ray Central ant Fuse has been overall a good experience. The location is absolutely fantastic, with easy access to downtown Del Ray and bus lines toward Braddock and Potomac Yards metro. It’s a vibrant area that offers convenience, solid amenities, and a good community vibe. While the location and amenities are great, the slow response to maintenance issues (Reoccurring elevator and garage door malfunctions) and poor communication are areas that need improvement.

No working elevator. No controlled entry because the garage doors are stuck open. No package delivery system, they get thrown in the non secure lobby corner. No working amemities. No urgency or concern with your washer is broken for month. Yes waking to the lobby alarm every single morning. Yes $150/mo+ hidden fees each month. Yes $75/mo pet rent despite emails with the leasing office saying it would be $50. Yes regular rent increases. No free guest parking. No response from management about any of this.

Living here has been a mixed experience. Some things are good such as the location but other things aren’t as good. We had a weird apartment transfer experience and people in the front office are sometimes rude via email when we try and communicate with the office about necessary things.

Great location, the leasing office staff is very friendly. Lately, the elevator is broken more often than not, and there never seems to be a solid fix. Recent parking garage issues as well, without quick resolution. Without those concerns, it would be a 5 star living experience.

I wish the dog park was more maintained and the wash station/faucet actually worked. The neighborhood is great and so are the neighbors living in both complexes.

I’ve been living in Del Ray Central for a couple of years now, and I can say that it’s been a great experience. If you’re looking for a place that brings together comfort, convenience, and community, I recommend Del Ray Central.

Overall a nice community. Unfortunately it's a noisy building (poor construction and nothing that can be done other than neighbors being considerate).

Rooms, facilities, and amenities are all adequate with few exceptions. The community is quiet and the grounds are well kept. My only two complaints are: 1) the dog waste stations are not refilled often enough. 2) the elevators malfunction *constantly* and the staff are weirdly unresponsive about it.

Nice area but the prices of everything are starting to becoming too unmanageable for what we actually have. We have had maintenance issues that are running up our utilities bills even more.

Nice complex with nice neighbors. The dog park is good but neighbors are not good at picking up their dogs business. Some neighbors complain to management as their full time job.

I’ve had a wonderful stay at this apartment for the past three years. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I need. The location is great, close to public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants. The neighbors are also respectful and quiet. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live.

Good experience so far. Living close to public transportation and restaurants and coffee shops is always a plus. For people out there looking for a place to live, I would say check it out.

So many small things that have been added keep increasing our monthly price. The air conditioning in the bedroom is almost non-existent even though there is a vent. The shower can only either be freezing cold or scalding hot. And somehow now building events are limited or at weird times, so that "perk" is no longer accessible as it was before the complexes were merged. The elevator certificate is also expired and is often randomly out of order. It's livable and not the worst, but the negative things are starting to stack up over the positives.

I moved in June 2023 and by far I am loving the area. I recommend this community to anyone, especially to those with a family. Delray area is very much family friendly and you would enjoy it, hopefully as much as I do :) The leasing office team are super helpful and friendly. They do their utmost best to make sure you are happy & that everything in your unit is well conditioned. The maintenance team are great! They are fast and you can tell that they love doing what they do. I will definitely consider giving it another year at this residential property. Thank you!

I’ve lived at Del Ray Central for 9 years. Beautiful property. Beautiful neighborhood. There’s no place in this area I’d rather live. Building is well maintained. Staff is kind and accessible. Underground parking. I haven’t had a problem in all this time. I recommend it!

My apartment had a few leftover issues that need addressing like bubbles in the floor. Air conditioning and cold water setting on the washing machine weren’t working, but both have been addressed/resolved. There is also mold on the balcony. Outside of those items, the apartment was good.

Del Ray Central is a great place to live. The building is well maintained and is in a great location. The maintenance team is awesome and is incredibly responsive. It has been hard to get the correct information from the leasing office sometimes but with the new ownership, customer service has improved drastically.

We love living at Del Ray central. Our apartment fits the needs of our family, the location is wonderful, and the leasing office staff are so friendly! Not to mention maintenance requests are always answered quickly and professionally. It’s just a pleasant place to live!

There has been lots of issues with the combining of the leasing offices. I understand that it's confusing for everybody, but I just moved in and it was a massive headache trying to get everything organized and together for my move.

Everything has been pretty good, but our renewal experience was a little bit rocky as there was some miscommunication about the contract being signed and the fact that charges for certain things had changed or gone up. I just wish the communication had been a little bit more clear and friendly. Our hallway also often smells like people have been smoking in their apartments on our floor.

Overall a good experience. The challenge with overhead noise remains yet new management seems to be more receptive than previous (review can change once that issue improves - normal noises are more than acceptable but pounding and stomping however, is not). Facilities are clean overall and maintenance responds quickly to needs within the unit. It's a good building overall.

Been a good experience so far. Great community and lots of fun things to do in the neighborhood. Can walk pretty much everywhere; from cool restaurants and bars to groceries and even the new metro station.

Del Ray is a nice place to live. :) We have lived here for almost a year and have had minimal issues with our apartment. My only complaint would be the closet and door placement in the apartment. They are not very conveniently placed.

I just moved in to Del Ray Central and love it here! People are friendly and quiet. And there are plenty of dogs. My apartment overlooks a beautiful hill filled with trees. I feel like I live up in the sky, but with the convenience of being able to walk to run my errands.

Overall a good experience. Nice building and facilities. Unfortunately other residents sometimes don't keep up with the facilities (meaning they allow their animals to create a mess and then they don't clean up after them). They expect the maintenance crew to do it - which is unfortunate. I've had some noise issues with a neighbor which at first wasn't addressed but now we are seeing improvement so hopefully this will continue to improve.

I enjoy living at Del Ray Central Apartments. It is generally pretty quiet, except for a few dogs in our hall barking in the morning and evening, and maintenance is fast to respond to requests. A few of the downsides are the parking fees, despite having a broken garage door for a week last month. One of the reasons I pay that fee is for the security that an enclosed garage provides. Another downside is that the elevator is constantly down for maintenance. Also, it would be cool if the hot was refilled in the office.
